From handbags and shoes to clothing and car seats, polyurethane-based artificial leather offers a high-quality alternative to genuine leather and is becoming a trend as vegan leather. Unfortunately, however, more than 90 percent of artificial leather is still manufactured using solvents with a negative impact on the environment.

Technologies based on aqueous polyurethane dispersions enable a more environmentally friendly production process.
